"Why are you always on the go?"
"Wah! Why didn't you invite me!"
Are you one of those people who envy or likes to question your friends of what they have been up to?
Well... Have you ever stopped to think that despite living in Singapore for a considerable time, there are countless hidden gems within its MRT stations waiting to be discovered?
Cause there is so much to explore!
You just haven't opened your eyes and mind wide enough!
Initially, I, too, believed Singapore was void of activities. But I couldn't ignore the fact that lounging at home, endlessly scrolling through TikTok and Netflix, was squandering precious time.
In this Blog, we will be going on this journey together and i need you to be able to keep an open mind!
Can you do that?
If so GREAT!
But before that, a short history about me is
How did I embrace this newfound adventurous spirit?
It all began when MRT printed out the System Map

Singapore MRT map stations
It made me wonder that I have lived in Singapore for so long but have not explored all the MRT stations.
Flashback to my secondary school years – those holidays weren't just another break. They were my gateway to adventure, taking me to various MRT stations where I was greeted by an array of delectable hawker foods and the untouched beauty of nature.
With each station I embarked on, there was an unmissable energy.
Just recently, I went to visit my brother at NUS and happen to stumble upon NUS Rag Day – a spectacle of performers from different faculties.
Let me tell you, I was utterly captivated!
The intricate decorations, the dazzling costumes, the flawless makeup, and the choreography flowed seamlessly – it was a visual symphony.
As i was so focused on the performance, I unintentionally forgot to capture it digitally – a hilarious mishap!
These are the moments that reinforce the wisdom of stepping out, for the world beyond our doorstep is brimming with the unknown.

Being adventures can be the scene of freedom wherever you want to go
or
It takes research!
To all people here who have nowhere to go or do
Here are some suggestions that i have been doing:
- Explore all MRT stations
(Get yourself a printed map from the MRT information counter and start circling all the stations that you have explored) - Go explore all ITE, Poly schools, and Universities
(that are open to the public) - Go to the "City" such as Orchard during the weekends as there will always be events
- Use TikTok or Lemon8 and search 'Things to do in SG'
- Instagram is useful too if you happen to get advertisements that show upcoming events
- Make a mission/goal list you always wanted to do
As time flows, you'll gather experiences like gleaming treasures.
Are you ready to dive into this expedition?
Come, join me in unravelling the boundless wonders of Singapore!
Together, let's script our stories against this vibrant backdrop.
